From the Great Wall to the Shanghai skyline, here’s everything included in our 7 day China tour.
China stands as one of the world’s most captivating travel destinations, blending ancient history with futuristic skylines, and this 6 night, 7 day journey through Shanghai and Beijing captures both sides beautifully. The trip opens in Shanghai, where guests are met by a local representative and taken straight to The Bund waterfront for a Huangpu River Cruise under the city’s dazzling night skyline. Day two dives into old world charm with a visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town and a boat ride through its ancient canals, followed by the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, panoramic views from the Shanghai TV Tower’s 118th floor observation deck, shopping at Nanjing Road, and an evening at the spectacular ERA Acrobatic Show. Day three continues the Shanghai exploration with the Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai History Museum, the trendy Xintiandi district, shopping at AP Market, and a thrilling ride on the high-speed Shanghai Maglev Train.
From there, travelers board a high-speed bullet train to Beijing, arriving to explore the Shichahai Scenic Area and catch a glimpse of old Beijing life around the Bell & Drum Tower. Day five is dedicated to the legendary Badaling Great Wall, complete with a cable car ride, followed by a visit to a Jade Factory and the Summer Palace, including a boat ride and a photo stop at the iconic Olympic Stadium. The journey culminates on day six with Beijing’s most iconic sites — Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven along with shopping at Bairon World Trade Center Mall, before departure the following day.
